Age Limit:- The age of the candidate should have attained the age of 35 years and should not have the attained the age of 45 years. The age of the applicant applying for the position of Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial service 2016 should be as on 1^st January 2017.

Qualification:- Candidates should have LLB degree and advocates of not less than 7 year standing as on the last date fixed for the submission of application forms.

Selection Procedure:- The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

Age Relaxation:- The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
ii) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
iii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

Application fee:- Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs 1000/- for general categories candidates / other backward class categories candidates (OBC) and Rs 750/- for schedule caste categories candidates (SC) belonging to state of Uttar Pradesh / schedule tribe categories candidates (ST)  belonging to state of Uttar Pradesh only and Rs 1000/- for all categories candidates belonging to other states. The applicants is required to deposit the prescribed application fee through payment Challan in state bank of India or use debit card / credit card / inter net banking mode to make the online payment.
